This policy explains what CuTwo collects, why it is needed, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We store your account identifier from Sign in with Apple on iOS or Sign in with Google on Android and, when the provider supplies them, your name and email address. We also store profile details you choose to add, including an optional profile photo, birthday, gender selection, and relationship date.
To provide shared features, we store pairing information, Love Pulses, shared-touch ritual state, daily connection actions, Meet Halfway activity, relationship pause state, and device push tokens. We receive basic technical request and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate and restore your account, connect you with the partner whose code you choose to use, synchronize shared features, deliver notifications you request, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, and fulfill deletion requests.
How information is shared
Your shared relationship activity is available to your paired partner. We use Apple or Google to authenticate your account, and infrastructure providers including Expo and Apple/Google push services as needed to host CuTwo and deliver notifications. CuTwo does not sell personal information, serve behavioral advertising, or track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Photos, camera, and notifications
Photo-library and camera access is requested only when you choose a profile-photo action. Notification access is requested to deliver Love Pulses, Meet Halfway alerts, and related shared activity. You can deny or later disable these permissions in device Settings.
Retention and deletion
We use account information to provide CuTwo while your account is active. You can unpair while keeping your account, or request account deletion from Our Story → Account & Privacy. This closes your account and shared space, and signs you out. Personal data is removed within 30 days of your request. For questions about your personal data or a deletion request, contact Support.
Security
Your shared space deserves care. CuTwo uses encrypted connections to protect data in transit and protected device storage for your sign-in credentials. We collect only the information needed to provide and support your CuTwo experience.
Age suitability
CuTwo is intended for people aged 16 and over. It is not directed to children under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has provided personal information, contact Support so we can review and remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date and provide notice in the app or through the applicable app store where appropriate.
